The symptoms of arthritis can vary depending on the type of arthritis and the joints affected. Common symptoms include:
    • Joint pain, stiffness, and inflammation

    • Limited range of motion in the affected joints

    • Fatigue

    • Weakness

    • Tenderness or swelling in the joints

    • Redness or warmth in the affected area

    • A grating or crackling sound when moving the joint

Some types of arthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus, can also cause symptoms outside of the joints, such as fever, weight loss, and rashes. Ayurveda, an ancient Indian system of medicine, offers a variety of treatment options for arthritis. Some common Ayurvedic treatments for arthritis include:
    • Herbal remedies: Ayurvedic practitioners often prescribe herbal preparations to reduce inflammation and pain. Some commonly used herbs include ginger, turmeric, and ashwagandha.

    • Massage: Ayurvedic massage, also known as Abhyanga, is believed to help reduce pain and inflammation by increasing circulation and promoting relaxation.

    • Panchakarma: This is a form of Ayurvedic cleansing that includes various therapies such as Vaman, Virechana, Basti, and Nasya. These therapies are believed to help remove toxins from the body and improve joint health.

    • Yoga and exercise: Ayurveda encourages regular exercise and yoga practice as it believes that it helps to maintain the health of the joints and muscles.

    • Diet and lifestyle changes: Ayurveda also recommends changes in diet and lifestyle that can help to reduce inflammation, such as eating a diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables, avoiding processed foods, and avoiding excessive consumption of alcohol.
